REACH (Religion, Education, Athletics, Character, Hope) Youth House is a northeast Detroit-based youth program that provides a safe haven and works as a neighborhood enrichment center. Its first priority is academic, according to Wydell Henry, who works as a youth mentor and youth director with the REACH program.

"The ones who aren't doing well, we do our best to work with them and do whatever we can to help them," he said, adding that those students doing well serve as an inspiration for the others. These students also help with tutoring.

One of the non-academic components of the program involves basketball and recently, the high school-age basketball team, the REACH Legends, won the Silver Division Championship as part of the Amateur Athletic Union (AAU) 16U boys championship competition in Las Vegas.
