In partnership with Think Detroit PAL and the NFL Junior Player Development (JPD) program, The Wellness Plan Medical Centers volunteered to examine the youth free of charge for the 2008 season. The Centers' physicians on site were Drs. Josephine Balatan, Daxika Patel, Krishnakumar Pardanani, and Patricia Abinoja.

Most health care plans, including Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Great Lakes Health Plan, Health Plan of Michigan, Medicaid, Medicare, Midwest Health Plan, PPOM and others are accepted.
