The Elliottorian Business & Professional Women's Club Inc. will celebrate its 80th anniversary on Saturday, Oct. 25, at the Sheraton Detroit Riverside hotel, 2 Washington Blvd., from 7 p.m. till midnight. WXYZ Channel 7 anchor Carolyn Clifford will be the guest speaker. Vickie Thomas of WWJ 950-AM will be the mistress of ceremonies. The theme for the event is "Educating Today's Youth/Developing Tomorrow's Leaders."
