Tabernacle Missionary Baptist Church to Host Christian Services

Summary


Christian Education Week offers a large selection of classes open to members and visitors ages 5 and older. Courses are designed to inform participants about God, increase their understanding of the Word of God, and inspire them to apply biblical principles to their lives. Classes include "Women in the Old Testament" "How to Read and Study the Bible/' "Baptist Doctrine," "Developing New Members Class in the Church" and "Introduction to Evangelism," among many others. Children and young adults will enjoy classes on "Biblical Heroes," "Biblical Models" and "How Christian Character Develops."

The guest preacher for the week is the Rev. Dr. George Wesley Waddles, Sr., pastor of the Zion HiU Missionary Baptist Church in Chicago, and dean of the National Baptist Congress of Christian Education, NBC, USA., Inc. The guest lecturer for the week is the Rev. Dr. Kelly Miller Smith, pastor, Mount Olive Baptist Church, Knoxville, Term., and executive director, Sunday School Publishing Board, National Baptist Convention, USA, Inc.
