Summary
St. John Health has been one of the key drivers in creating the new corporation, but has certainly not been alone. SJH provided seed funding to engage the Greater Detroit Area Health Council in a thorough environmental assessment and needs assessment being released this month, and also engaged Dynamis Advisors to interview hundreds of community leaders as part of the needs assessment and foundation work.
Key partners in the collaboration are the Detroit Community initiative that has already built senior housing at Conner Creek and will be breaking ground on a new phase of construction, Oakland University and its nursing education programs that use the Riverview and Conner Creek campuses and will be expanding their health care programming, and health resources provided by St. John, Holy Cross Children's Services, FQHCs (Federally Qualified Health Centers) and other health providers at all three sites.See the full content of this document
