We are working together for one united Michigan. We cannot have unity in Michigan if we allow the California money moguls to divide our state. We call upon all people who believe in the message that was found in the recent celebration in the life of Rosa Parks to continue to fight to end discrimination. As Mrs. Parks sat down for us to stand up, we are standing up for Affirmative Action. We are here today to send a message to [Wardell Connerly] and his sponsors that we shall not return to the back of the bus.
