The MSHDA Property Improvement Program loan is targeted to households with annual household income not to exceed $69,800 in urban counties such as Wayne, Oakland and Macomb. The loan rates are based on household income and range from 4 percent to 8 percent fixed. A MSHDA PIP loan can be used to make eligible improvements with loan amounts up to $50,000 for a single-family one-unit property.
