Mrs. Crump was born Sept. 1, 1929, in Knoxville, TN, to the union of George and Lola Jackson. Her family relocated to Cleveland, OH during her youth. There she met Walter Crump during Sunday school in the third grade and after finishing June Adams High School they were united in holy matrimony on Oct. 29, 1948. To this union four children were born. He preceded her in death in 1983 after 35 years of marriage.
