"The reason I'm running for the Detroit Charter Commission is that this charter will have a profound economic impact on the city of Detroit," said [Ken Harris]. "And I want to make sure that there's representation in the community when we revise it, and to see that it allows for opportunities for small business development and empowerment and the creation of more industry."
