A Fundamental Change in Science Education at Harding School

Summary


The evolution of the new DPS science curriculum has begun to permeate my school. I see the greatest reward from these urban students as being that they actively participate with more enthusiasm. As they review old concepts and learn new concepts utilizing the Depth of Knowledge questioning (DOK), students are forced to use more critical thinking and inquiry skills.
