Summary
For those of you who voted, however you voted, we say congratulations and thank you. There hasn't been an election of such importance and significance in Detroit since Coleman Young was first elected to office nearly four decades ago, and anyone who felt it wasn't worth their time to make their way to the nearest polling station and make themselves heard on Tuesday has lost all rights to complain or to criticize the way this city operates. This was not the time to shrug your shoulders and "wait and see." This was the time to get involved. This is your city.
