Preparation for the event began Dec. 9 and ran through Dec. 15, during which time MGM Grand Detroit Casino employees voluntarily helped pack and wrap the gifts. MGM Grand Detroit Casino also worked with over 50 charitable organizations that distributed the items to families they identified as being in need.
