"Diet is what you consume every day," she said. "You can have a pork diet, a fast food diet, etc. but if you are the cook of your household you can change your family's diet. If they are hungry thy will eat what you cook."

"A raw food diet or vegan raw is food that has not been cooked with heat beyond 120 to 125 degrees," [Angela Kasmala] said. "The vegetables keep nutrient and enzymes intact."

"I would wear make-up and keep my hair done thinking that people wouldn't see the weight," [Jodi Davis] said. "My turning point was when I attended my husband's cousin's funeral. She had died because she was overweight and her heart couldn't take it. I saw her son standing at her casket crying. I decided that day that I didn't want my children to ever see me like that."
