Can't Blame Detroiters for Palace Brawl

Summary


After an entire weekend of repeatedly seeing the film clips, I concluded that the source of the now infamous player-fan brawl at the Palace of Auburn Hills was none other than Indiana Pacer Ron Artest. Ben Wallace did nothing more than respond with a shove to the hard foul by Artest, who then assumed the arrogant, "kiss-my-behind" position by lying on the media table and crossing his legs. This was followed by his cowardly response to one stupid fan who decided to throw a cup of ice on Artest, who then leaped like a wild-man into the stands. The rest is regrettably history.
