"Campus Martius Park has something for eveiyone this summer and it's all free. Guests can come to the park to listen to music, relax on the park's beautiful lawns, participate in fitness activities, enjoy special events during lunchtime, or simply take in downtown Detroit's skyline in the center of it all. "Summer in the Park" spans over 19 weeks and offers seven genres of activities. Everyone is welcome to the park to celebrate summer in the great city of Detroit," said Bob Gregory, president, Detroit 300 Conservancy.
The event aims to draw visitors of all ages to the city. Each of the "4th Fridays with Ford" will feature a different music genre, including rock 'n' roll, blues, world, Latin and country. A late-night, outdoor, independent film experience, "Cinema D, at Campus Martius Park," will be held at the end of each "4th Fridays with Ford" evening.See the full content of this document
