This year's honorees were: Sheila Kneeshaw, chairperson for the City of Detroit General Employees Retirement System; Gwendolyn Butler, president/COO, Capri Capital Partners; Darnell Jackson, first vice president, Investments, Morgan Stanley; and Rev. Wendell Anthony, trustee, City of Detroit General Employees Retirement System, who received the Lifetime Achievement Award. Special recognition was also given posthumously to City of Detroit Treasurer Shatter Terry III via designation of the NASP-Detroit Shatter Terry III Scholarship Fund.
