Summary
At Fifth Third Bank, we value and acknowledge the importance and vitality of diversity in our organization. Our "newest star", our Diversity Logo was created to consistently deliver the diversity message to our employees and our community. Each point of the star represents a component from our diversity declaration; allowing Fifth Third Bank to integrate the unique variety of women and men in our workplace, marketplace and community to include individuals of all ethnic, cultural and generational backgrounds. To facilitate a culture of inclusion built on a work environment of equality where everyone feels valued and respected, not only because of their differences and unique contributions, but also for similarities and common experiences.

Leaders hold themselves accountable for the results. There is so much more in the Urban League report that space does not permit us to go into. In a week of activities focused on diversity awareness in mid-October, Fifth Third Bank invites its employees to take the time broaden their perspectives. A week of planned activities include "Ultimate Guessing Game Contests", daily diversity trivia, celebrating culture by providing information to local diverse attractions, providing an opportunity to wear jeans and sneakers for a $5.00 donation, with proceeds going to Focus Hope and a diversity pot luck luncheon.See the full content of this document
